Celestine R. Miller, O.D
Dr. Celestine Miller graduated magna cum laude from The Kentucky College of Optometry in May 2024. Before pursuing her Doctor of Optometry degree, she played collegiate softball at the University of Michigan-Dearborn where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2019. Her work in health care began in the pharmacy working as a nationally certified lead pharmacy technician while completing her undergraduate education.
Following the completion of her optometric education, Dr.Miller pursued post-doctoral residency training through The Ohio State University. In July 2025, she completed her residency in ocular disease with an emphasis in anterior segment and glaucoma at Ohio Eye Alliance. During her residency, Dr.Miller presented continuing education lectures to students, co-residents, and fellow doctors in Columbus and Canton, OH.
While at KYCO, Dr.Miller completed externships at Bennett and Bloom Eye Centers and Gaddie Eye Centers in Louisville, Kentucky,as well as in-house training at KYCO and Pikeville Medical Center Hospital. Much of her clinical training occurred in rural and underserved areas of Kentucky,and included vision screenings at local elementary schools and the Special Olympics in Richmond, KY.
Dr. Miller is a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, the American Optometric Association, American Academy of Optometry, and Ohio Optometric Association.
Dr. Miller specializes in the diagnosis, management, and treatment of various eye conditions and diseases. This includes retinal disease, glaucoma, uveitis, corneal pathology, pre- and post-operative care, and emergency eye care.
Dr. Miller is committed to serving the residents of Northwest Ohio with compassionate, evidence-based eye care. In her free time, Dr. Miller enjoys the outdoors, long walks with her rescue dog, weight training, and spending quality time with family and friends.
