Lance M. Bodily, M.D.
Dr. Lance Bodily graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in Neuroscience and minor in chemistry with high honors, having made the President’s list all semesters of attendance. He then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, during which time he was granted a Copeland Research fellowship to complete a year of dedicated laboratory study. After excelling in his clinical years, he was awarded the Keverline Medical Student Award for excellence in ophthalmology and went on to complete a combined medical and surgical internship, as well as a residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Following residency Dr. Bodily continued on to pursue further training in orbital and oculofacial plastic surgery with Ophthalmic Surgeons and Consultants of Ohio, Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Dr. Bodily specializes in reconstructive and aesthetic procedures involving the face with an emphasis on the eyelids, orbit, and nasolacrimal system. He has a particular interest in malpositions of the eyelids, cancers involving the eyelids and orbit, blocked tear ducts, forehead and brow reconstruction and rejuvenation, orbital surgery for thyroid eye disease, as well as reconstruction after MOHs surgery for the removal of skin cancers of the face. He also has a special interest in surgical and non-surgical procedures for facial rejuvenation.
